ROMANS 12:2 a paraphrased message from, The Message “So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”

Millennials, Snowflakes, SJWs and The Rise of Adrenal Burnout

In the light of the recent presidential election, the media exposed a trend within our millennial generation, especially amoung students in college campuses nation wide.

If you go to YouTube and seach the terms “liberal snowflake” and “swjs (social justice warrior)” you will find dozens of politically themed videos about this.

The goal of this article is to explain the root cause of this new ‘millennial culture trend’. It’s important to remember that emotions and thoughts are largely byproducts of body chemistry, which is greatly dependent on the quality of nutrition a body has.

The human body has magnetic and electric properties, this fact amplifies the role of minerals (which are primarily metals) to intimately correspond to our health. This electromagnetic phenomenon is partly responsible for the expression of our personality.

For example, iron is known as an ‘older male mineral’, but it’s not limited to old men by any means. Dr.Lawrence Wilson works closely with these mineral personality relationships and explains how a mineral toxicity, an overabundance, can have a negative effect on the personality. Therefore, the well known term’iron head’ has truth in describing people who can be more ruthlessly power hungry and more physical in nature than spiritual or etheric. This is considered older, because it’s becoming less common in the younger generations. However, we still need the mineral iron In our bodies, just in proper ratios.

Millennials have a different problem today-most are severely depleted of important minerals and as a result are in a stage of exhaustion know as ‘adrenal fatigue’ or ‘adrenal burnout’.

Millennials are depleted and most are born that way, because their mothers were also depleted in important minerals, so they did not have an abundance to pass down in utero.

Another reason for continued depletion is our demanding lifestyles that create a catabolic state, which means we are burning up everything quickly and breaking down. In addition , we are living in a processed food world where replenishment is nearly impossible. This would be the equivalent of running marathons everyday, but you have insomnia/ can’t deep sleep,  so you never actually recover and rebuild at night. How clearly can you think and make decisions in that state of mind?

Moreover, this type of situation will cause toxic chemicals and heavy metals like lead, mercury, nickle, cadmium, and bio unavailable copper to accumulate inside of the body. Because the body is in adrenal burnout, a stage of exhaustion, the detox pathways are compromised, which means the body cannot get rid of all these toxicities.

These Millennial problems of not thinking clearly, making irrational decisions, being overly emotional, being confused about gender, and so on are effects of extremely low energy and high toxicity.

Lead has a dulling effect on the brain, nickle is known as the suicidal thought mineral, too much copper will give a body anxiety and heightened emotions, mercury is known as the mad hatter mineral. If this is all the fuel a person has, then what can be expected of their thought processes and expression?

All Millennials need to detox and replenish. Once a higher state of energy is recovered and correct mineral balance is established, then they will have more efficient fuel.

My Detoxing Journey- Disillusionment (pt. 2)

This article is meant to explain how disillusionment is associated with health and development.

The way that disillusionment is used in this article has nothing to do with becoming depressed. It is simply realization of truth after following ignorance, a non truth, a preconceived judgement, or a deliberate lie. It is a term to express letting go of disease, illness, and negativity while grounding yourself in the present moment of health, truth, and integrity.

Moreover, disillusionment, or knowing the truth over a lie, would not cause depression as some say, but joy and good health.

    Firstly:

It is imperative to understand that health in the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects all correspond to each other and they are never to be separated. By a general rule, all of life is interconnected and as something happens in one area there are always changes in all the other areas, even if it seems unrelated.

For example: in order to get healthy again a person may start cooking all their own meals while avoiding bad foods and restaurants. This is going to have a physical reaction of drastically improved health. Because of all the vitamins and minerals now being utilized, not only will the function of the organs improve, but also the persons mental state and personality will heal itself of trauma and clarify.  Another example of a mental reaction would be that the person learns many skills, including self discipline and perseverance, which are tools that can then be used to accomplish other goals in the persons life. The spiritual reaction can vary depending on the person’s level of development- they could gain a better relationship with God after having asked for guidance and support to overcome the difficulties of cooking all their own meals.

The other spiritual realization in this example is that of disillusionment- the person realized that eating the presumably glamorous foods at restaurants isn’t actually ‘exciting’ and ‘fulfilling’. They would see that eating precise homecooked healthy meals is the real key to an exciting and fulfilling life.

The premise here is that a fulfilling life doesn’t come from satisfying every whim for eating out or eating junk food that you have. Instead, a fulfilling life comes from your improved health and the knowledge and wisdom you gain by knowing the ingredients in your food, where they come from, and how they react in your body. It comes when you understand that your choice of food makes a political and economic stand that effects the lives of everyone around you.

Some groups who are interested in developing and getting healthier are usually more focused on one aspect- either physical, mental, or spiritual. This is unfortunate, because if they cultivated everything as a whole it would far surpass their intended results.

This is apparent in some of the fitness community including martial arts, where they may put significant effort into exercising and developing technique, will power, and self discipline. Unfortunately, it’s common even among them to either not put much thought into the proper diet or just to have faulty information about what right nutrition is and how it works.

Many don’t realize that not having the proper diet is directly setting limits on just how good of a martial artist you may be.

The reason for this comes in a plethora of examples, including:

    • The vitamin and mineral balance it takes to enable your neocortex to function- the part of your brain responsible for strategic thinking. The strategic thinking necessary in a combat situation.
    • The very precise substances your dna needs to methylate properly- the process needed to give you energy and stanima.
    • Activation of certain Neuro transmitters and hormones that allow you to enjoy what you are doing and gives you the will to preserve through hard times.

Your body needs minerals to function properly. The majority of food in the average grocery store is lacking in minerals and high in heavy metals and man made chemicals/toxins.

The toxins in our food are not only causing cancer, heart disease, liver disease and other physical ailments, but they are the cause of mental disorders as well- add, adhd, Aspergers, depression, anxiety, Alzheimers, schizophrenia, suicidal tendencies, bipolar disorder, and all others.

However, a vital key that we need to know in todays world is that someone doesn’t suddenly jump from healthy to a disease. That is why preventative care and maintenance is necessary.

Another important key is that your personality reflects directly what state of health your physical body is in. If you are a calm, rational, and patient person- you can attribute that to your body chemisty and your mineral balance. If you change your body chemistry and mineral balance through your diet, you may also change some of these personality traits.

In conclusion, disillusionment is about grounding yourself and taking responsibility for all that you behold.

And of course,  as a general rule, the physical, mental, and spiritual are always going to effect eachother and they should never be separated.

    Comprehensive Eating Plan

    View the pdf here: nutritionplanrachalquinn

This is my personally written nutrition plan- It is similar to a Nutritional Balancing Program, but not the same. This plan is meant to accelerate development, assist in detoxification, and remineralize the body. You may follow this plan above as a “free” diet program and it will help you greatly. However, I do recommend a consult, so as to refine the diet to you specifically and also targeted supplements are absolutely necessary.

Edit: 02/02/2017. WILD RICE should now be avoided now due to mild arsenic toxicity.

    Understanding Wing Chun Posture

I’ve noticed some precise changes in both the physical body and some aspects of the vital body from training in the Wing Chun posture. Even though I’m still working on perfecting and understanding it, I’ll share some of my findings so far.

From D.1 below, We can see that our objective is to pull the body downwards towards the ground and pull the head up as if held by a string though the top of the head.

One significant factor of this is in the intentional downward movement of energy, opposed to it moving up the body, across the body, or just stagnant. As far as the head is concerned, the “string theory” (lol) is a way of elongating the spine and bringing more energy in through the top of the head so a large quantity of it can be gathered and distributed down. The tailbone forward means “sitting in horse” which is also encouraging downward movement.

Downward flow is paramount in a healthy body. All meditations and activities should encourage this flow through and towards the center of the earth (grounding). Any upwards or sideways movement is ungrounding and unhealthy for the body.

    Diagram 1

    image

Below explains another important detail of sitting in horse and putting the head on a string, which is to promote relaxation.

We have two nervous systems that directly influence our adaptive energy . The parasympathetic is related to resting, digestion, and sex. When activated we have the ability to think our clearest and to act in a logical and calm manner. Our hormones and cells can function optimally here as well.

In contrast, the sympathetic nervous system is our fight or flight response. It raises adrenaline to peak levels and cuts off the parasympathetic state and all its advantages.

As you can see the parasympathetic nerve connections are at the very base of the spine and the very top of the spine. Both of which seem to be activated when sitting in horse and raising the head as if on a string.

    Diagram 2

    image

The next diagram is an acupuncture meridian chart.

Lets locate the GV, governing vessel. It can be found at the top of the head on the front. It is the thickest black line running directly vertical through the center. The back looks identical, but it’s suppose to be called the CV, Conception Vessel. They are like male and female counterparts or yin and yang complementary opposite forces of nature.

I wanted to make a note that the GV is considered the most vital and foundational vessel to develop in acupuncture and meditative arts… And if you see this as the “center line” as in Wing Chun, then it is there as well.

Some things the GV is known for is its ability to direct energy to different channels in the body and to nourish the organs. Interestingly, it is also know as defensive energy used to strengthen, shield, and cover the body.

On lieske.com/channels/5e-gc.htm  They suggest a position of “Holding the tongue against the roof of the mouth connects the Governing and Conception vessels, and forms what is known as the Small Heavenly Circle, or the Microcosmic Orbit. When the tip of the tongue touches the upper palate in the mouth and the anal sphincter is squeezed.  Not only does this action complete the balance of Fire (Heart) and Water (Kidneys) energy, it also increases the body’s protective Wei Qi.”

As far I know, this is not a technique in Wing Chun, but I wonder if it ever was? I am definitely going to start incorporating this into my practice and see what I can get out of it.

    Diagram 3

    image

Lastly there is turning on the heels while in proper posture, where there is yet even more emphasis on activating the parasympathetic nervous system.

Using a foot reflexology chart, we can see that the base of the spine, the sex organs , and the top of the head are super imposed on the heel.

In reflexology, which ever  part of the foot is having pressure put on it is going to move energy to that correlated structure in the body. So, turning on your heels in Wing Chun largely activates a phenomenon of downward relaxing energy, especially when paired with the other techniques.

    Diagram 4

    imageimage

There is still much to say about this.

    Suicide And Why It Happens

I just received news that a childhood friend of mine committed suicide last weekend. He was a genuine, caring, and brilliant man and may his soul be blessed and healed.

“The World Health Organization estimates that each year approximately 1 million people die from suicide, that’s one death every 40 seconds. It is predicted that by 2020 the rate of death will increase to one every 20 seconds. ”

“There is one death for every 25 suicide attempts.”

Although, suicide may seem reserved for the hopelessly depressed, if you read my article The Mechanics Behind Depression, you will see that it is more widespread yet elusive than presumed.

Triggers VS. Underlying Problems: Divorce, relationship issues, death of loved ones, and loneliness are typically triggers, but not quite the underlying problem.

In the case of suicide there are many biochemical markers to identify these ill bodies.  Making it a whole body issue, rather than just a ‘mental’ problem. There is almost always a way to prevent suicide and prevent and heal depression. It requires following the correct nutrition program and making precise lifestyle changes.

According to Dr.Lawrence Wilson, regularly associated biochemical abnormalities include metabolism malfunction, heavy metal toxicity, and brain malfunction. All of these are deep seated physiological problems in the foundation of suicidal thoughts.

The root cause of suicidal thoughts:

The issue of heavy metal poisoning is common in all people. Not only are they abundant in our environment, but they are passed down in utero from generation to generation. The difference of how this affects each person is the level of exposure and condition of their health.

An excess of nickle, which is an extremely deadly heavy metal, is a consistent finding in suicidal thought cases. Nickel can be found in jewelry, guitar strings, batteries, coins, stainless steel cooking and eating utensils, tobacco, dental braces, other dental wires and metals such as for partials dentures and flippers, dental crowns, hydrogenated vegetable oils, contaminated alcoholic beverages, margarines and imitation whipped cream, commercial peanut butter, vegetable shortening, bathroom fixtures, unrefined grains and cerial, oysters, herring, and all teas especially roobios tea or red tea.

Dr.Wilson (of drlwilson.com) refers to nickle particularly as the ‘suicidal thought mineral.’ Reducing exposure and eliminating this metal with a proper nutrition program is necessary for healing.

Another significant factor would be the issue of low vitality and inability to detox. This is also very common with people today. It means the body is low in energy, it is like driving your car on E all the time. When our energy is low it inhibits our ability to adapt to certain situations and move through them. This relates to and impairs our liver and kidneys.

Low vitality indicators would be regular use of coffee, sugar, carbohydrates, skipping meals, smoking weed, drinking alcohol, staying up late, negative thinking, low self-esteem, putting others down, sometimes paranoia, and listening to loud music.

Structural damage is also common in suicidal thoughts. Sometimes the brain is misaligned within the skull, this can cause impaired thinking. Misalignment of the spine and hips is a factor as well.

So,  you can see that a suicidal person is actually in a great deal of physical pain and the body feels almost like a prison because of these physical ailments. They are often invisible to the doctors and even the person being affected, because they don’t know what to look for.

A proper nutrition program and precise lifestyle changes can correct these problems.
